Mental Freedom for Sports Coaches
Freeing Your Mind –The Route to Enhanced Performance in Sport
It’s not easy being a sports coach or manager. After all, you’re responsible for training and motiving your athletes and when things go wrong, you’re first in line for the blame, too. It’s hardly surprising that sometimes you struggle to remain focussed, energetic and motivated.
Imagine if you could free your mind from over-thinking or self-limiting beliefs, allowing yourself to ‘be in the moment’. Think about your own performance as a coach or manager flowing naturally and effortlessly, inspiring your athletes to be outstanding. The mind is 100% responsible for giving us an experience of performance and life. As a coach, wouldn’t you like to gain a better understanding of how your own (and athletes’) state of mind, wellbeing and resilience and how this impacts sporting achievements and life decisions?

How I help you
With over 30 years’ experience in elite sports performance, engaging in transformative conversations with coaches and managers at club, regional, elite, national and professional levels, I can help you to:
- Understand the mind-performance link– avoid performance sabotage, and see learning, development and results arising from the power of your own insight rather than the outside world.
- Uncover the misunderstanding that causes all self-image and identity issues, and live life full-out and fearless.
- Embrace the power of thought that can lead to positive, profound and sustainable change.
- See the difference between mental health and mental illness, ensuring that you and your athletes are physically and psychologically ‘fit for purpose’.
- Realise your own potential, enjoy a happy, healthy, high-performance life, and help athletes to do the same.
- Play your part in reducing mental and emotional suffering in the world of sport.
- Help to revolutionise the sports industry – evolve performance results, exploring what’s possible via the physical body and mind, without negatively damaging athlete’s lives.
As a result, you will be able to:
Handle team selections and feedback with greater clarity and confidence, knowing that players feel secure about your decisions.
Ensure you help athletes to access 100% skill capacity when it counts, inconsistency and underperforming is a thing of the past!
See the effectiveness of your athletes’ training program, accelerate the process of their learning and adaptation.
Guarantee a quick recovery from losing to tough opponents or under-performing and effectively learn from the experiences.
Help athletes to handle disagreements effectively, so the team remains strong and focused.
Stop athletes from blaming others or circumstances for poor performance and take responsibility for their psychology and responses.
Understand the true nature of the performance zone state so that you experience natural flow more and more of the time!
If you identify with any of the above outcomes, then you are ready for change via one of our Transformative Coaching Programs for sports coaches and managers.
